i bought a new extreme weather ss and a universal bore guide. sliding the bore guide in is easy, i just cant get it to slide back out because the tip catches on the ejector blade. is there a certain type of bore guide that will in some way help eliminate this problem? should i just try and tape down the ejector blade when cleaning? any advice at all would be appreciated. thanks folks.

Dave, I just use a very thin flat tipped screw driver. I gently slide it in along side and ease the bore and action protector out past the ejector. Very easy once you get the hang of it. There may be easier ways but this is very quick and easy to me.

good luck

If this is a Mauser type action, merely pull back on the bolt release on the left side of the receiver and you'll get enough clearance to slide the bore guide on out of the receiver.
