Hi
First post to Forum.
Recently this old flintlock was unearthed in a garden which used to belong to a Mr Aldridge, a pioneer settler in the mid 1800's in Maryborough, Queensland, Australia.
It has been presented to our local Historical Society and we would like to gather as much information as possible..It is approx 8" in length. The trigger guard and buttcap appear to be silver.
All help appreciated.
I have added a link to our website for pictures, not sure if this is the correct way to add pictures.

Welcome to the forum !

There's no link or pics visible, so you can just paste the website's addy (www.xxoxetc.com, etc) or upload pics to a (free) web pic-hosting site (photobucket.com, postimage.org, whatever) , then copy each pic's direct url & paste it here.
