the Beartooth technical guide advises that all copper jacket fouling be removed before firing lead bullets. The gas check is made of copper. Does it leave a copper desposit same as jacket bullets and have to be removed in the same manner?

Technically speaking ,the copper gas check will deposit a wee tiny bit of copper ,but it is so infinitismal compared to full jacketed bullets it is not to be worried about.A good question, however.
