I am saddened by the Episcopal Curch's decision to allow an unrepentant sinner to serve as Bishop. The Word of God plainly states in both the Old and New Testaments that the homosexual act is a sin like any other sexual sin.
Paul's instruction to Timothy plainly states the requirements for candidates for pastoral service. It is plain that any person living in an unrepentant state, be it an adulturous relationship, homosexuality, drunkedness, etc, cannot serve in this capacity.
Yet, this denomination has chosen to overturn the Word of God and instead chooses to please men, saying that the prohibition against such sins are: "old fashioned", "not in pace with the realities of today".
What a victory for the forces of satan!
