Lobo, I happen to have that book. I purchased it several years ago when looking into rechambering a rifle for one of Gibbs wildcats. That project is long done and the book is no longer needed. Offer me what you feel is fair and its yours. Rob

You had better take him up on it.
The ISBN is 0-935-632-99-9 1991 by Roger Stouers. He must be a very modest man, his name is not prominently displayed. This book only has 64 pages but it is very interesting, (two books in one).
A search of the Advanced Book Exchange, Biblofind, and Powells.com had no examples for sale!

Hi Fellas, I just came across this post while I was searching for the same book by Roger Stouers. I am looking for a copy of this book. If anyone is willing to part with it I will take it off your hands. The book title is Gibbs cartridges and front ignition technique. I have a 30 Gibbs I have been shooting for a long time now and a 8mm Gibbs just back from the Smith waiting on a stock, and I am sending my new 25-06 down within the next couple of months for the 25 Gibbs ream job.

I would appreciate the help in finding a copy of this book
Thanks
Hello,

I have been off line for a few days and just saw your post. I mis spelled Stowers name for some reason.
Here is a link to his web site and a few others that may be helpful to you.

I sent Roger an email and I also sent Wolfe publishing an email.
(Rogers' reply ) "Fred Zeglin also just wrote a book about Wildcat cartridges in which just about all of the Gibbs info is included. I wrote most of it for him"
(Wolfe publishing reply)
"We are sold out of the Gibbs Cartridges book, but recently we've started to put some of our out-of-print books on DVD, and Gibbs is one of them. It should be available in two to three months. We'll be advertising them in the magazines when they're ready for sale, or check back with us in May."

So it looks like we may have a few options in which to get this information.
I've got the Zeglin book and it is very good, in my opinion. There are quite a few tidbits about the Gibbs cartridges.

I'll try to do a write up on the Zeglin book soon.
Believe it or not I have this picture hanging in my offic. Along with a similar picture of Ackley and Pope. We all need a picture of a gunsmith hanging on the wall!
