I don't think I have ever been glad hunting season is over. Now I can get back to shooting and loading and cleaning and shopping and trading and going to gun shows, well you get the picture. I don't think it has anything to do with not seeing a single deer while on stand this year.
Here is my to do list.
I do not have to develope any hunting loads for the 30.06, .308, or 44 mag because this loads are still untried. (I'll probably try something anyway, but I don't have to.).
Exchange and sight in scopes on 30.06, .308, two .22 rifles and mount and sight in a new scope for the .22 mag single six pistol.
The M44 Mosin still won't shoot a group and load problems have been elliminated so I will be lokking at barrel conditioning and bedding issues there.
Plan on getting my CCP.
Joining a defensive shooting club on Tuesday nights at the local indoor range.
Work to do at the hunt club and my little wood lot close to home.
That is a lot already isn't it. I think I will just go squirrel hunting.
