I just received my brass from the fellow I have tumble it. Inside the cases I found some gray paste, like ash that was a little damp. It wasn't there when I loaded the brass, since it was new Hornday brass. It wasn't there after I fired the rounds because I was testing loads and inspected my brass after each group. It comes out fairly easy with a small wire prod and is definately damp since it makes a fine paste instead of flying away like dry dust.
The tumbler uses walnut media with no solution in it. Is the media worn outor is it just too humid? Any reason for concern?
