Again trying to get info on a riflemaker who is know as G LUTZ GJ LUTZ AND J LUTZ according to Track of the Wolf. They have had two of his rifles for sale in the last couple of months....but.....will not divulge any info about the person I recently purchased one of his guns....a Pennsylvania style longrifle at a gun show and would like to know more about the rifles history....as well as Mr. Lutz.
The on ly info I can find on the web is for a maker from the 1800's. The rifle I have is in good condition, .45 cal and has a horses head brass patchbox.
I have emailed several riflemaker sources but get no reply, or the reference to the 1800's LUTZ. Does anyone know of a modern living maker of this name...or do I have a super fine original from way back when ????
