My brother in law just had an H&R bulldog given to him. It appears
Quite old since there is no serial number on it. I was trying to find out anything about it for him. Also what might it be worth. I don't feel it is in shootable condition but I was wondering if it may be worth holding on to. Any info would be great.

I can't help you much except to say that H&R, Iver Johnson, Hopkins & Allen, Forehand & Wadsworth and others all built cheap "Saturday Night Specials" of no particular merit and the "bulldog" name was popular for any of them. There is no real collectors interest in them and the value of one even in good shape is probably 50-100 bucks. I bought four revolvers of this type in .32 & .38 S&W calibers just to make a display of them to show the type of gun usually carried to the Saturday night poker game or crap shoot. I never paid over fifty bucks for any of them.
