I can't get an answer on this one from the manufacturer. Can barrels be interchanged on the ultra rifle. I could order a replacment and see or risk me and my friends rifle and life and limb but I don't want to. I have a .308. It's about as neet as it comes. Buddys got a 25.06. A real tack driver. Can anyone help since N.E. can't even decide who makes the thing.

Thanks guys. I think I got my answer. I used the Shooters sight and those guys had a lot of info. I knew I could not change barrels with handi rifles but I could not figure out why another Ultra barrel would not work. I think I know that because of the nature of these guns they all may seem interchangable and legal problems could result or have resulted. I am going to talk to the man in charge when I decide to get a 25.06 barrel for it. Thanks for the help.
