Has anyone any experience with H4227 as compared to H110 and A2400? I was told by Hodgdon that 4227 was temp insensitive. Does it give as good a result (velocity, pressure, etc) as the other 2 powders?  I have a 44 mag

The one time I used 4227 was in .44 Magnum launching 250-grain hardcast bullets. I was never able to get consistent ignition. Mucho unburned powder from 4" and 5.5" handguns.

It was IMR, back when it was still under the DuPont banner.
