Came across this knife and have looked around. Can't figure out much about it. Stamped LINDSEY on one side of blade and 1-8 1990 on the other. Can't find much on a maker named LINDSEY. Please help

Looks like a custom knife possibly made by a hobbyist bladesmith.

I see no Lindsey in the list of custom knife makers of 1982, but the hand stamped logo means he was just starting out or didn't last very long.

Thought it looked hand stamped..... ok. well its cool it was probably just a personal made knife. That's good enough for me. Thanks guys

The best place to look for information is the back of Gun Digest. It's free advertisement for knife-makers, gunmakers and others and many have taken advantage of it over the years. Sometimes a name and addy will only show up for a year or two.
John Amber did MUCH more for the shooting sports than publishing books, mags, etc. and many craftsmen are beholding to him.
