Hi i've been reading posts on here for quite a while for information on firearms. you guys have been a great help.
i had a question i was hoping somebody could answer. Im looking to convert a SA revolver in to 327 and befor i did i was wondering if any body knew of any models i shouln't use. right now im looking at a cimarron lightning in 32-20 and 32 H&R im planning on either sending it to mister bowen or getting the cylinder from him and taking it to my gunsmith. i was also wondering if i can keep using the extra 32-20 cylinder after i get it converted.

You won't be changing the barrel, or altering the frame, so the ability to use the 32/20 cylinder won't change. Just make sure all cylinders are with the gun when the new cylinder is timed.

Why not just have the .32 H&R cylinder rechambered? It will still shoot the .32 H&R as well as the .327 after the re-chamber. The .327 is just a longer case than the .32 H&R.

I sent a 32 Mag cylinder from my Ruger Buckeye Special 32-20/32 H&R mag,to Mr BowenI think ity cost about $115 and came back very quickly. The quality was great and it shoots extremely well. You can't go wrong with that deal.If your Cimmaron has two cylinders yes you can use them both.Only thing that gets changed in the 32 H&R cylinder is the chambers. All you need to send to Bowen is the cylinder.Go to http://www.bowenclassicarms.com/ and print an order form. You will need to send that with your cylinder. You can also email them and get an estimate on labor and shipping charges before you send it off.My experience with Mr Bowen was vaery positive and I highly recomend them.
