how do you tell people about a good hunt that you experienced without it being soliciting

I guess you'd just tell the story about your hunt but don't mention any business or product names? There is almost always a "story" thread going on, so you can just add your experience as a post to one of those threads, or do so on this one. Not that hard, really.

treeman - We have a forum called "Hunting Stories" where folks talk about their hunts and post pictures. Its pretty easy to tell a story without mentioning the commercial enterprise. The board looks in askance at such praise as perhaps the enterprise owner or employees trying to drum up business. Hope you understand our concerns regarding free advertising on a board provided free to members by a hardworking businessman trying to sustain his own business.
