I just picked up the new 2011 Reloading Manual. It now has the data for the LVR and Superformance powders along with several good articles on their use. As we have discussed before, the powders are sort of center range burn speed and will not fit all the LVR and Superformance loads. What does interest me it that the LVR power will drive a 30-30 150 gr RN at over 2500 fps. Now that is screaming out of a 30-30. The LVR is best used in 30-30, 35 Rem, 308 Marlin and 338 Marlin which I happen to own all but the 308 Marlin. I am looking forward to giving it a try.
