I might be getting a wooden gun case with the glass doors just to have a place to store my rifles instead of the gun cases. The only place I have to put it is is upstairs in our bonus room. Well, our bonus room gets uninhabitable in the summer time due to heat. Will this damage my firearms?

I am thinking no, except that, in Tennessee, with heat comes humidity, but that would exist in any part of the house and have to be dealt with accordingly. Not being a "gun scientist", of course, ambient temperature in a home, cold or hot, shouldn't affect your guns. I've been storing some of my rifles for more than 33 years, and once throughout the summer in a rent-a-storage. Direct sunlght, yes, I would think (stock and finish), but not ambient room heat, even in the 100's.
