Just inherited a 20ga 1100 in pretty good shape. But my wife's grandfather had installed an old weaver "quick point" fiber optic sight on it, which is in rough shape now, and I don't like it anyway. I need to replace the mounting screws that hold in the trigger assy. with the original pins. I see that there was a regular 1100, then a field grade, featherlite (or something of the like), etc. How do I know which one I have? The serial # begins with an "L" if that makes any difference. Apparently the different models have different pins.

Moderators, if this needs to go in "gunsmithing", feel free to relocate.

Thanks and God Bless, Ryan

Measure what is in the holes right now, and estimate how close the fit is.... someone can pull a pin on their 1100 or 870 and see if it looks right.

I figured they were common to every model, but hey, you never know......

Thanks for the help on this. Sorry that it took so long to get back on here, been very busy and let it slip my mind. I measured the screws that were in place of pins that are there now, and assume that the diameter measurements should be the same;
front .190
rear .255
receiver width 1.340
If someone could verify this pin diameter and length on their 1100 and/or 870 and let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks and God Bless, Ryan
