I have an EMF(Pietta) GWII Revolver , a Colt SAA clone .

I want to increase the trigger pull from the 1.5-1.75 pounds that it came with from the factory to 2-2.5 pounds.

Can the flat trigger return/bolt spring be cold bent and accomplish this ?
Epoxy a thin strip of feeler gauge to the existing spring to stiffen it up ?

Or?

The proper way to do it is by recutting the sear notch, but its good to have spare hammer before you start.

You can install two trigger springs on top of each other. Cut the bolt side off first. Adjust the trigger by trimming the top spring back until its what you want.
