The board requires a period of time and number of posts prior to enabling you to post items for sale. This is to prevent the folks that merely pop in to advertise on the freely provided board and then move on to other sites. Hang in there and you'll be able to list as soon as the minimal requirements are met.

I believe it's 25 but not sure over what period of time.

A minimum of 7 days and the aforementioned 25 posts.
