The purpose of this database is to store actual hunting results with hard cast bullets in the handgun and rifle. It not to designed to favor one caliber or bullet weight over another! It is designed to give, both the new shooter/hunter and the experienced handgunner, an in-depth source of information. You may include your name, however when the results are published by Marshall on the Beartooth Forum the name may, or may not, be included. This is your database and will only be as good as you contribute.......James C. Gates

Well, Gentlemen.....Here we go! As you know we are now testing Beartooth bullets in South Florida (and Northwest Florida) on game. Some interesting results are coming in and being added to the database. It does not matter whose cast bullets being used, home grown or otherwise. We need all the information we can get! Here some of the things the database will show:
(1) Whose shooting what and with what success?
(2) What nose type is proving the best (Keith, LBT, OWC, or whatever)
(3) What are the most popular powders?
(4) What are the most popular barrel lengths?
(5) Where have cast bullets failed and what to do to correct it?
(6) What seems to be adequate and for what weight game?
(7) And any other success or failures?
Again....There is nothing being done that will favor one caliber over another. We need information on all popular calibers. This is your database and the more that contribute, the better the information.
