Good choice, I just put one on my 1895ss 45/70. Want to use it as a brush gun for black bear and pig. Still havant had  a chance to try it yet as my gun smith has my rifle and is porting it for me, as you get older the recoil from heavy loads seems to take a tole on the old body. Any way after I get it back will take it out and see ifin I can hit anything with it.

Good sight.  I have them on a 444Marlin Timber carbine.  They are surprisingly accurate and fast.

I felt they were a little expensive but they work well and look to be strong.

The trick is to get the front sight the right height and width.
