In my opinion, the 30-06 is in fact advantageous because, if you need or want to, you can load heavier bullets for the 30-06. Chances are more than fair that you'll buy at least one more rifle in the future, if not several, so one way or the other you'll probably end up with rifles in both calibers.

well after looking all over the show i did not find anything i really liked so im just going to buy a new gun but im not going to buy the savage edge anymore, im choosing between and moseberg 4x4 or a marlin xl7 what do you guys think i should get ? ohh ya its going to chambered in 30-06
