We have a fellow lives about 20 minutes away from us...has a buck just like that, literally in his back yard. Well, not just like that...it's a little wider and more squat. Easily a 170" buck. I think he has some pictures of it, actually...I'll have to talk to him. Anyway, he's not a hunter, and doesn't allow hunting...so we only get to drool at it. Early October he also had some elk move in (we don't have elk in this area), last spring he had a pair of blacktails (again, none of them here), and two or two and a half years ago he had some antelope there as well...another critter we don't have around here. They must know he'll protect them, or something. Unfortunately the blacktail buck got hit by a car only a few days after they moved in. He looked small to me, but from the pictures my brother took, we've had several folks tell us he was a trophy.
