Interesting development! Makes the crimp groove work! No reason not to do that, as with the straight walled case there's no problem with 0.1" too short a case!
The more I shoot the 280 WFNGC in the .444, the better I like it. Were it not for the moose and griz around here, it might well become my favorite load for the .444. great fun, and pleny of power for virtually anything. Doesn't have the 200 yard trajectory of the 290g LFN or 330g LFN... but then not everyone stretches the .444 to those limits either!
Keep us posted on your load development . Seems the .444 has quite a following.... wonder if we should make a category for it?
