Hello,
Ann's learning. She loves the Viper, even though she knows it's not the best thing in the world. The last time we went out I had to break it down. She said she didn't know what I was doing, but I looked "cute" doing it
As she's getting the bug to just toast cans out of her system, she's settling down into a rhythm and is interested in learning other things about firearms, thus the rapt attention when I work on the thing.
I told her I'm getting her a better rifle if it proves that this will be a long term interest. She says she really likes this one and was going to paint it pink and name it something, but she's seemingly changed her mind to the color orange and has named it Kenny because it keeps dying.
She has a good instinct for safety...
A decent stance that I really like to watch.
Trying the LCP.
She doesn't really like pistols. She has nothing against them as tools, but she prefers the .22 rifle. I'm not going to push pistols on her - she'll either come around or she won't, though she's expressed a desire to start carrying and was looking at pink handguns.
It's good to have a girlfriend who enjoys this hobby. She'll probably never hunt as she "won't eat anything that is cute enough to be kept as a pet," but she gets a special thrill out of killing tin cans and has started a trophy collection of cans she's mutilated.
Fun times!
