The pre-setup kits are usually a 1 box per rifle setup. Perhaps NECO sells the lapping compounds in bulk to do several rifles. The kits I use are 5 or 6 grades of lapping compound ( course to fine )
with 10 projectiles per each degree of courseness. They include 10 extra's of the 2 finest grades to re do the procedure at a later date.
One thing on "bullet lapping", there must be decent rifling left in the barrel for it too do any improvement.
