I was looking at the case for the 444 marlin the other day, and suddenly thought about the dimensional similarities between it and the 45 colt.  This is really a dumb question, but would an opened up 444 take a 45 colt slug? and if so, could a win 94 in 45 be rechambered to the longer round?  it would be the nearest thing to a 45-70 in the winchester that we could get... guess I just can't stand the thought of pistol calibers in the Win 94.
