When I purchased my new 223 laser boresight, I noticed that it was not aligned from the factory correctly.
After giving thissime thought, I decided to place it in my 1/2" dril press.
After gently inserting it, I placed a target on the table under it.
I gently turned the chuck by hand.
Sure enough, as I turned the chuck the laser drew a circle on the target.
I made adjustments until a steady dot was achived as the chuck was rotated.
I now feel, that the laser is better aligned than before.
Try it, you may see the difference.
