Rugers hyped-up announcement today is the LC9 and it looks like it is another winner for Ruger following LCR, LCP, and the entire SR line. The Kharites are trying to pick it apart as it is much less $$$ than their equalivant model. Biggest issue seems to be safety on a DAO but I know I want one.

Yep, looks like Ruger has paid attention to the requests of many. I'd rather have a 9mm than a .380. I have an LCP but don't care for the snap of recoil in the little gun. The larger size of the LC9 is promising. I hope it sells well!

Wow. Yeah, Ruger really is doing an excellent job of catching up with the market. It's a bit taller and a hair thicker than a Kel-Tec PF-9, but is shorter.

I'm glad more companies are realizing the potential of the slim nines and fourties. Hopefully, others will get their heads out of their rears about it, too. I'm looking at you, Glock.
