Hello,

These things

are really sorta' accurate:

238gn LRN-FP over 5.2gn of AA#2 fired by a Winchester LPP.

Distance was 15yds.

I tried for an even better group, without the flier, but my hand was feeling weak from an afternoon of casting, reloading and shooting trying to get these things right.

Should be good bunny and critter medicine, too.

.45 ACP? What overall cartridge length did you wind up with? What are you shooting them in?

I've been playing with these over AA#5. I may try the #2 to see if accuracy improves. I like the design and use them to replace the Hornady jacketed of the same profile.

I notice the edge of the meplat is slightly radiused on yours. My older mould has very sharp edges and tends to get dinged while feeding. I emailed Lee and suggested they round it off slightly to prevent that. I may have to pick up a newer mould and see if that helps.

Hello,

They were shot in my self-customized RIA. It is pretty much based on the MEUSOC pistol, but I added and deleted things as were necessary for me. 5" barrel but without the match bushing.

IIRC the COL was aroun 1.19". I'd have to look at my notes again, which are not handy at the moment.

Thanks,

Josh
