Could someone explain to me why Lee suggests replacing the entire carrier when changing primer size yet it's okay to change the shell plate? If you already have the shell plate off it takes only five seconds to change the primer punch/spring and trough. I can swap back and fourth with no feeding problems so it makes no sense to change the entire carrier.

Only when changing to a caliber with a different primer size.

But it only takes about 5 minutes to change back and forth including changing feeders and primer sizes...it takes about the same amount of time to swap carriers????
