I finally bought my reloading equipment and get it all set up and took to resizing some of my cases and all of a sudden the ball grip on my press slipped off... I know it's not a big deal and that a little glue will take care of it but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them??

Those wood Lee handle balls fall off all the time. I don't know anyone it hasn't happened to. Follow Ranger's advice.

Ya they just slide right off.

I've got a Hurst shifter handle that has been sitting on my bench forever. I was going to tap hand and screw it on but never got around to it.

Hairspray sticks it on pretty good its slippery when wet the dries out and gets real sticky

We're not talking a stuck accelerator here, just a knob that came off a handle. When you consider the economy and value of the Lee products, as well as the simple and inexpensive solutions to this "problem", it is hardly a serious QC issue. Some might call it a feature, being able to attach your own kind of handle. :)

"Would you buy a new car that you had to fix right after taking delivery?"

That's been true for me, without exception, since 1964. And usually several trips back to a dealer too.

"Fixing" a wooden ball onto the end of a lever isn't an overpowering task for most of us. ??

People do this everytime they buy a Windoze computer. Installing drivers, service packs and all that crap. It doesn't mean that there is something wrong with the design of the computer does it - or maybe it does. Maybe that is why I own a Mac. Ha Ha. :D But Haveing used Lee products in the past, I say that there is nothing wrong with them. If it costs my 5 cents worth of epoxy to glue on the handle bal and I can save over a hundred dollars doing it, I guess that that is what I would be buying.:)
