Speer manual usually has one or two reduced loads per cartridge for several bullet weights.

Lyman cast bullet manual for cast loads.

As I don't load for the .30-30, afraid I can't be much more help.

Modern reloading by richard lee has a formula for reduced loads. It sure is fun shooting 110g plinkers at 2000fps, no recoil.  doug

A 150gr. cast bullet will do 900 fps out of my 336 propelled by 5.0gr. Bullseye or Clays. One ragged hole at 50 yds, should do the trick. Quiet enough to shoot outdoors without ear plugs.
