Its good to be back. I really missed the forums when the site had computer problems. Now on to my question, has anyone done any work with Lil' Gun and the 45 Colt. The bullet I was thinking of using is the Cast Perf. 335gc. In load swap they have one load using Lil' Gun at 22.0 grains and the 335 bullet. Does that sound hot or not? The gun is a Ruger Blackhawk.

From the data that you have provided it looks like 22 grains would be too hot. Thanks for the info. Thats why I wanted to check with other Beartooth people. I remember a load for the Marlin 1894 in 44 magnum with the 300 grain xtp. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I started a couple grains under the recomemded load. Even at my reduced starting point, the load was too hot, very hard extraction. I can't imagine what would have happened if I used the recomended load. Just goes to show all guns are different and what one gun will take some others won't.
