Got to handle one at the store today. WOW! Really light. The guy who works the shop bought the first one in the door. He is going to meet me at the range to shoot it here in a week or so. It should really kick. But, it may be the perfect woods gun. A light load for rabbits, plinking etc. and a bear load just for sighting in and carrying. The issue for me is the ability to deliver more then ONE rapid shot at a target. Maybe I would be better off with say a .41 tracker or my 6" 1911 .45 Super. They won't kick near as hard as this .44. I think I will have a shoot off with him and see how it compares with my .45 Super for repeat shots. Just wish I had a .41 Tracker to through in the mix.

I think I will stay with something standard weight. I got my wife a stainless 3" 629 .44 Mag and mag-na-ported it. It is still brutal with .44 mag loads. I can't imagine that 329!
