I wanted something a bit different for my big bore woods gun options so I asked Marc at Gemini Customs to create something unique but functional. Here it is, life started as a 5.5 Redhawk, which was perfect in its own right, ending with a 3.5 inch custom ported barrel, fancy grips, action tuned, and nice chrome job.

Handles 305 grain buffalo bore outdoorsman load with no problem. It’s peppy but not bad to handle. I like 3.5 barrel guns, for me, a bit of an oddball, that’s my preferred barrel length. Pictures are from when I first got it.

Double hearing protection I'm willing to bet 💥💥

I've got some "Ruger only" 300 grain XTP's I'll let you try 😉

Porting does make it louder. I’ve always worn top of the line protection but never doubled up, always take care of your eyes and ears. I’ve shot some crazy ruger only loads in the past and will have to take a pass, some crazy stuff hand loaders cook up. Take care...
