Does anyone out there have a good starting load for a [email protected] 38 55 Buffalo Classic Rifle?I am new to not only the rifle but reloading in general. I have the dies and a LEE 250gr mould.
My H&R shoots the 250gr. sized to .380 with 33grs of Re#7 the best. Use caution when reloading and follow your manual. I started at 28grs and worked up .5gr each time when it shot the 33grs. so well I never went any farther.hope this helps.............
16 gr. of 5744 works for me, I have also loaded 9.5 gr. of Unique, 8.5 gr. of Red Dot, and 8.5 gr. of Power Pistol all with a ployester filler. The 5744 load shot the best but I am going to try some Trial Boss which should fill the case better.
