Has anyone tried hogdgon longshot? I have tried 7.8 grains under the 215 swc in .41 with very good accuracy.

I have also used 11.5 grains under the 200 grain speer hp with good results. But there is very little data out there for this powder.
Have any of you tried it and what are your favorite loads for it?

I work up pistol loads for power, not accuracy, but I have exepimented with LONGSHOT in 357 Sig and 10mm.

I have found it to produce bulged cases just above Hodgdon's max loads. IN 10mm LONGSHOT bulges at 10% powder, 800X bulges at 126% powder. The safety margins with LONGSHOT in Hodgdon's loads are small.

I does have complete burning and compactness. That it has in common with AA#5 that gives great accuracy in 460 Roland loads. I am getting .7" 3 shot groups at 100 meters with 45acp brass.

Since reading this post, I found right around 9.0 grains Longshot, a powder coated .410” sized 220 gr. bullet from Arsenal/ like an NOE mold to be the most accurate load so far out of my Smith 57.
