I am a new enrolled by Italy and regard all; i ask information: I possess a Marlin 1891, built in 1896, mat. 116xxx.
And' under splendid conditions.
And does it arm common or rare?
Does it possess some value?
Welcome Vanni, and YES, your rifle is somewhat rare today - in splendid condition, with bright case-hardening colors on the receiver, deep bluing on the barrel, and that dark reddish-brown varnish on the walnut stock we all love.
The better the condition, the better the value.
How about posting some nice/clear pics of your treasure ?
