Hi boys!
I am a new enrolled by Italy and regard all; i ask information: I possess a Marlin 1891, built in 1896, mat. 116xxx.
And' under splendid conditions.
And does it arm common or rare?
Does it possess some value?

Vanni; You need to check auction and collector websites on the internet.....this will give you a good idea about the current market value of your rifle.

In english that would be "little" not "few". :)
The price on the auction sites will reflect how rare your 1891 is.

Predecessor to Mod. 39. Not common but not exceedingly rare either.

Welcome Vanni, and YES, your rifle is somewhat rare today - in splendid condition, with bright case-hardening colors on the receiver, deep bluing on the barrel, and that dark reddish-brown varnish on the walnut stock we all love.

The better the condition, the better the value.

How about posting some nice/clear pics of your treasure ?

I looked up that 1891 in the Blue Book of Gun Values yesterday, and unless I looked at the wrong model it should be worth $2,000-2,500.
