This topic could ignite some "past posts" also...
I'm sure EVERY Marlin has its merits and "de"merits,
But for me personally, I just like the classic lines of the 94.  I have 6 different flavors of the 94, and for me, they just shoulder better than my marlins.

This one was my "granpappys"
 It's a Pre-'68 Win. 94 top eject 30-30

He dragged it thru the woods of New England, it was given to me with stocks almost to splinters....
A little TLC and she came right back!
It has a williams foolproof with a large apeture, so it's almost a "ghost ring".   Just one of many...
I love to refinish the stocks from ordinary to slightly fancy. just makes a beautiful rifle even better!!
