I think I have read almost everything about the Marlin 99 and the 60. I think I have one of the early 60"s. First, it's grooved for a scope. It has the cheaper birch stock, no serial number except for a small GK or GR on the left side of the barrel back by the rear sight. It's a Revelation120 made by Western Auto. The thing that bothers me is it has NO kind of bolt hold open. Forget, "just push it in or to the left" . I get nothing. Wondering if anybody has heard of this.

It's almost in new shape and shoots flat and accurate. Thanks, Surferboy

im afraid i don t quite get the picture ..but that my lacking..
i can tell you this..if it a marlin 60 an still functions well ..use dirty ammo in something else an that gun may just out live you..dirty ammo is its enemy though..just wears oput the action of that semiauto..slim
ps does your gun hold 18 rnds ..17 in the tubular magazine.. if it does,,. its a 60..
also if its a 60 it was made by marlin for western auto ,,i would think..good luck..
