I am new to the forum, and I have recently acquired my first Winchester 94. Here is my question:

Is my rifle that was made in 1964 a pre or post 64?? Does anyone know?? Thanks for any help I can get on this.

According to the 28th Edition, Blue Book of Gun Values, Post-64 production began with serial number 2700000.

Look underneath the receiver by the serial number on the lever bar. Is there a screw holding a pin in place? Yes= pre 64. No= post 64.
