I see there are quite a few MEC users here so I thought I'd ask about this. On the final station of my various MEC loaders there is a small roller that is part of the crimp linkage. These things seem to develop flats on them very rapidly. By rapidly, I mean in about 150 rounds or so. Am I hammering these somehow, or is this normal for these machines?

Ditto the above. Would even suggest using a quality grease as grease does not tend to dry out as quickly as oil. Once a flat spot developes on small rollers the roller stops rolling and the flat spot only increases in size.

Yeah, I have been lubing the thing. I think part of the problem is perhaps I use oil, and it creeps out onto the outside of the roller, causing it to slide, rather than roll. A phenomena similar to what happens when someone greases the mast rails on a forklift. I just thought it was wearing pretty fast, regardless.

I use graphite grease on mine and also on the collet sizer fingers. It's made by outers but i can't think of the name at the moment but it works well in those applications.
