Just finished reading in American Handgunner (May/June) article about your custom 9-1/2" Blackhawk 45 LC/ 45 ACP. This one is really something. Congratulations! Many of us would appreciate if you could tell us bit more about your experience with 9-1/2" barrels. Looks to me that this type of revolver should be the perfect tool to learn handgun shooting, especially on long ranges.
The only thing that should be done on any custom revolver, in my opinion, is to have front sight base that will accept Redhawk front sight. This will eliminate need for filing of front sight and would allow for instant replacement in case somebody wants other height or type. I am dreaming of one in 41 or 400 wildcat with same barrel length, and with (slightly modified) Bisley grip.

Thanx, Been a while since I checked in as I thought I was posting a bit heavy.  9.5 is a good learing experience and let me get right into small game hunting with my Colt Buntline Scout at age 12.  Kind of like training wheels.
