I have always found that H-110 works at its peak efficiancy with heavy loads and heavy bullets along with heavy crimps. You might think about some Alliant 2400. This powder works great in .44 Mags(just ask Elmer) even at mid power. Start around 17.0gr of 2400 for around 1000 fps. 18.0gr gives around 1065 and groups about 1 1/2" out of my 629-4 with a 300gr Beartooth LFNGC. Hope this helps!
