I have a '94 Winchester with a 6-digit serial number 920XXX manufactured in, I believe, 1923. It is an octangular-barreled rifle chambered in .32 Winchester Special.
The magazine has been shortened. I would like to find a replacement original magazine that might fit the look of the gun, which is well-used, worn and without much original finish.
Any suggestions as to where I might find such parts?

You could talk to the various sources, to see if they have a well-used one in stock - BUT - the chances are pretty remote that you'll get one with the same color and/or type wear pattern that yours has.

There are two different paths someone can take to restore a rifle like yours, so it looks the way you want it to:

Figure out how much of the original mag tube is missing, and add the missing tube length from a new/newer tube at the rear where the addition will be hidden by the forend wood.

Obtain any mag tube of the proper age ( proper end cap/etc), and "distress it" yourself to match your rifle.

You can get them from Numrich that you cut to length. If yours is missing bluing , use steel wool to take off the bluing of the new tube. If you need more of a rusty color . Get it wet and let in surface rust . Buff with a rag. Repeat rusting until you match color. Then oil.
