I have a 1972 vintage Winchester model 94 in 30-30 that will likely be getting a new home soon. It has very good wood that has been nicely refinished. Blueing has a few small spots that show some wear. The rifle is in real good shape overall. It is complete except for the front sight hood. What can a guy reasonably expect to get for a rifle such as this? Thanks, Ted

In my judgment, geography will have a lot to do with the fair market value of the particular rifle you describe. The reason is, it will be more desirable in some areas than others. Nevertheless, my best guess is that it is "worth" $200-$250.

Kindest regards,
Timberwolf :)
