Terry,

one problem with Moly is that it will allow moisture to accumulate under the coating, which in turn causes rust problems in your bore, especially with chrome-moly and yes, in stainless too...

I use DANZAC to coat both my rifle and pistol bullets and it does a superb job of keeping ALL copper out of the bores. I have been using DANZAC for 15 years now and if you are wanting to shoot "coated" bullets, I would highly recommend it...

One thing though. Before using coated bullets, you must make sure your barrel is 100% clean with "0" trace of copper in the bore. Otherwise, you are defeating the purpose of using coated bullets....

I've never had or used molly coated bullets, but I have used molly when doing neck sizing only on hunting/plinking bullets. They sure go through the die well and I think gives almost the same bennefit as coating the bullet at less cost. Works for me anyway.
