About 8 years ago at our local gun show a fella had a crate of 10 1894 Winchesters with saddle ring. All the rifles had orignal hang tags on the lever and were consecutive serial numbered. The rifles were sent to England during WWII under the Lend Lease Actand never used. After the war they were returned to the USA stored in a wharehouse and forgoten. He also had letters of documentation to prove all this with the display. At that time they were worth $100,000 . The crate had a plexie glass cover over it so you could view the rifles. You talk about COOL. MC
