Well, I thought I had a link, but it's not working this morning, so I can't get too specific. I can tell you that the infamous post-64 models started at 2800000, so yours is sometime after that. It's definitely NOT a pre-64.

those levers are sure pretty ,must be the most recognised rifle in the world..
according to winchesters dates of manufacture your rifle was built in 1977.
My nephew has one made in 1976. It's a sweet shooter and you just can't miss with it. Mine is just as good, but made in 1956. Enjoy that rifle!
